Charlie - Project Manager
Hi my name is Charlie, and I have over 10 years experience in the dental industry. I started working as a trainee dental assistant in my hometown of Torquay, in England, where I quickly discovered that I had a strong passion for dentistry and thoroughly enjoyed caring for my patients. I eventually became senior assistant with the same very large general dental practice, at which I begin my training, and enjoyed the task of training new staff members that joined our team, in both computer use and clinical assisting.
I moved to Australia for good in 2002 after I spent some time travelling around both Europe and Australia, where I was able to use my skills in other specialist’s practices both in London and in Sydney. Working with dental implants soon became very intriguing to me after my work with a periodontist in Sydney, so coming to work for Jeff was a great step for me as I enjoyed the progression of being able to give back the smiles to our patients and more importantly giving them the function they need so they could eat and chew properly. This area of dentistry is very rewarding as you can help so many people along a wide spectrum. My vast knowledge in both the administration and clinical aspects of dentistry can be very comforting to our patients and they can feel free to ask me any questions about their treatment along the way. I have been a part of the dental field for many years now and find great pleasure and contentment in knowing that I am doing something I love with a great dentist and at the same time getting to help many people!
Genevieve - Senior Clinical Co-ordinator

Aloha my name is Genevieve from the small rock Island of Niue, most of my childhood I was raised away from home in Hawaii. We moved onto the mainland of America where my intrigue for dentistry started, I got straight into training here and soon qualified as a dental assistant. 18 years later im still loving my career, I feel that being a nervous patient myself helped me to be compassionate with my patients, so they feel at ease and relaxed in my care and there is no doubt that the education process and working with Jeff has helped to reduce my own fears of the dentist!
Throughout my career I have worked in general practice, dental hospitals and in specialist dentistry, and during this period I have gained a large amount of knowledge and also enjoyed the connections made with my patients.
Sydney Dental Professionals has provided me with continuous education and thanks to Jeff I am now a member of ADIA, which is a very prestigious dental implant group, I also have my CPR certificate updated regularly. Dr Jeff Albert believes highly in cross infection control and pain-free dentistry which means I get to put my knowledge in to practice everyday.
I feel very privileged to be working at a practice who’s standards are second to none, and being a nervous patient myself it is comforting to see that dental treatment needn’t be painful. Mahalo nui loa………
Tabitha - Dental Hygienist

Hi my name is Tabitha and I joined the SDP team in March 2011. I am a qualified dental hygienist and have been part of the dental industry for 15 years. I obtained my bachelor of oral health from Newcastle University in 2008. Before this I worked as a dental nurse, dental receptionist and practice manager.
I am registered with the Australian Dental board, a member of the periodontal society, committee member for continued education for the Dental Hygienist Association NSW and a guest lecturer for the Dental Assistants Association of NSW.
My main focus is promoting preventative dental care within our practice and also in the community and attending regular courses and seminars to keep up to date with the latest techniques and technology in dentistry. My interests with the dental field include preventative dentistry and craniofacial pain management.
Emily Wilson – Junior Clinical Assistant

Hi my name is Emily, I have always loved the dentist since I was little, very strange I know. I find it interesting and I love being able to help people improve their teeth/smile. I started out working in Minto as a receptionist for a large dental practice, and then decided that I wanted to be more involved with the patients and in dentistry. So I came to SDP to further my career and become a dental assistant. I am learning so much here and really enjoying every day, as Gen is a great teacher!
I have also been wearing braces for a little over a year now too, so I feel I can also appreciate what some of our patients feel when having orthodontics. Once I get my certificate for dental assisting and have spent some time in this area I would one day like to become a Hygienist and help our patients even more.
